Cantaloupe

Hola hunnies! I know I have not been updating my blog for quite some time because I think I need some time to enjoy my summer break more. I went to get my unicorn hair done, tried out lots of awesome delicacies, hung out with my besties and brought my Australia friends who came to visit Malaysia around. I really had a blast during the past few weeks. Now I am back to blogging and this time is not a fashion nor beauty post so if you are disappointed, you can always leave because I am not going to say sorry for this *laugh*  Oh c'mon! Who is not a foodie? Everyone loves delicious food including me. If you are a foodie, you really going to love this foodporn post!

You might notice I look a bit different in the photo, I just tried out wearing the grey colour contact lens that night, which you can't tell from the photo. Well, yay or nay?

Anyway,  I had an awesome fine dining with my boyfriend last week at TROIKA sky dining @ Cantaloupe. From my personal experience, I think Cantaloupe delivers better service compare to Marini's on 57 and their price are much more reasonable with a spectacular view of Kuala Lumpur skyline. We ordered two set of 9 course meal and two drinks just cost us around RM900 in contrast to  a 4 course meal and two drinks that also cost around RM900 at Marini's on 57.

Will I come back again?
Definitely yes.

Usually one set of 9 course meal at Cantaloupe just cost RM380++ but we changed our main course to duck confit as my boyfriend recommemded me that I must try their signature dish so I have to add another extra RM20++ for that, which is quite reasonable. However, I probably have a high expectation on their duck confit so I ended up feeling disappointed instead. The duck confit is too salty to my liking. But overall, everything was superb! Now, I will just let the photos do the talking *wink*

Apologies for the not-so-beautiful food photos because the yellow lighting over there has made all the photos become yellowish despite I already tried my best to edit the lighting and colours of the photos. I guess it will look better if we had our lunch there. There are two desserts in the set I chose. I love the second dessert because the presentation was as beautiful as what I usually saw on Masterchef  and it was so flavourful with different layers of texture. Also love the idea of the rum bubbles on it, when you bite it, the rum will start oozing out from the bubble. Rum, chocolate moose and cherry sorbet are the best combination I ever had for dessert! It was bitter then sweet and followed by the sourness from the cherry sorbet, it feels like I was in a dessert heaven.

In addition to this, I also love the ambience over there and the beautiful night view from the glass window! You can even go to their balcony area and chillax with your loved ones. It is really a nice place to have a chat with them too.

I guess that's it for now. Sincerely hope all of you enjoy reading this foodie post and I also hope these photos can make you guys feel hungry *giggles* Haha just kidding! Wish all of you have a nice day !! Till then..

xoxo
